Academic background
Göran Holmqvist is a Senior Policy Analyst, seconded by Sida during 2009. He is trained as an economist and has a background working for Sida in various management positions. He has a Filosofie Licenciat* degree in Economics and Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Public Administration with Advanced studies in Economics at the University of Stockholm.
*Filosofie Licenciat is an intermediate post graduate degree between the level of M.Sc and and a full Swedish Ph.D.
